Testimonials
"Absolutely magical"
This is an incredible property. It is beautiful inside, rustic, warm (we stayed in mid-winter and with the fire lit the lounge was roasting!), clean, everything you could possibly need. On the outside are views of the fells on all sides and walks straight out the front door. If you want somewhere which feels like you're utterly away from it all this is it. I could not fault it in any way - perfect. (PS attention to detail was lovely - we stayed over Christmas and there was a tree, lights, christmas crackers, and a foil turkey roasting tray...)
"The cottage was lovely, the finish quality was exceptional with no shortcuts that you often see on
The owners were most helpful and perfect in the balance of being on hand for advice and not obtrusive. The location is very rural and quiet, allowing wildlife/birds to be easily observed, squirrels, stoat, siskins, and lots of other visitors, the surroundings are picturesque and give a remote feeling although the village is close and shopping location just a short drive away. Perfect.
"The pictures do not do this cottage justice,it is wonderfully appointed, warm and cosy."
The outdoor space is perfect for dogs .Excellent hosts who obviously care deeply about the area and its wildlife.

"The cottage was absolutely lovely - the owners had taken great care to understand their visitors requirements for children, dog and ourselves."
I would highly recommend the cottage we stayed at in Ravenstonedale.
"Lovely clean, homely cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need."
Many different birds and the occasional red squirrel right outside your window, thanks to the owners Karen and Steve's feeders. Steve came to our rescue on our last day and changed the wheel of our car after a puncture! Can't praise them enough. 5 stars!
WOW!
