Chiropractor & Wellness Physiologist

Dr Timothy Wood is the owner & principal chiropractor at Maple Leaf Chiropractic & Wellness, in Weybridge.
He has 15 years of practice experience, a respected academic background (as a former Clinical Lecturer at the University of Surrey). He received his Masters degree in Chiropractic (Durban, South Africa) and has an additional Degree majoring in Physiology & Human Movement Science (University of Stellenbosch, SA). In addition to his practice skills, Dr Wood has published numerous papers in scientific journals and has presented papers in the USA, New Zealand, Brazil and France. He promotes a Wellness orientated practice, moving people out of pain, through improved function and on to optimal health & performance. As well as his own chiropractic skills he oversees and works with other Health Professionals: Massage & Sport Therapists, Nutritional Therapists, Coaches & Therapists as part of his Integrated Wellness Care Model.

Emma Davis

As a former professional Triathlete and Coach Emma knows a lot about sports injuries. Not just how to treat them but how to help you avoid them and how to get you back on track – fast!
At Maple Leaf she uses her skills as a Sports Therapist and her experience as an elite athlete to help our clients reach their health goals. She not only provides massage and other soft tissue techniques like Kinesiotaping, she also is very skilled in developing individualised rehabilitation plans to help our clients improve their posture and strengthen up the weak areas or imbalances in their bodies.

Joanna Rodriguez - CBT and Health Psychologist

Jo has over 8 years of practice experience working within a variety of NHS settings. As a CBT therapist, she works with people suffering from a variety of life stresses and mental health difficulties, including depression, panic, OCD, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, marriage difficulties, work related stress etc. As a Health Psychologist, she has also worked with many people experiencing long-term persistent pain and other chronic physical health conditions, using psychological approaches to offer more holistic condition management.
She has a broad range of experience, working with individuals on a one-to-one and group basis for supported self-help and CBT therapy. She also currently works at the University of Surrey, teaching Low Intensity Psychological Interventions
Clients can self refer but she also receives referrals from local GPs.
