Cure your back pain - Learn to walk in High Heels
Chyna Whyne is a singer/songwriter and has recorded and toured with Bob Dylan, Seal, Peter Gabriel, The Who and Eric Clapton (to name a few). When performing with these acts, she constantly wore high heels during performances and suffered chronic lower back pain as a result. After she had completed a one year world tour with Eric Clapton, she could no longer wear high heels. She came across the Alexander Technique, and began to have lessons. Her back seemed to be improving and she was extremely surprised - she had previously had chiropractic, osteopathy and physiotherapy to help her recover which all helped, but she noticed the pain kept on returning. Being so fascinated with the Alexander Technique and its benefits, Chyna decided to take 3 years out of her singing career to study it. During that time, she developed the concept of how to master the art of wearing high heels. After completing her training and becoming a teacher of the Alexander Technique herself, Chyna was back in high heels and was able to wear them all day as well as all night without suffering the common problems associated with prolonged heel-wearing. Chyna has now gone on to teach thousands of women worldwide how to Master the Art of wearing high heels, which is also the title of her book.
